Letterboxes
A solo exhibition of these paintings took place at the (GALE) centre in Gairloch, in Wester Ross, in August, 2013. The paintings are of letterboxes local to Gairloch; from South Erradale to Badachro to the south, to Melvaig, Inverewe and Mellon Udrigle to the north. A few original paintings are still available. Letterbox postcards
Before the exhibition started, I did a series of postcard-sized sketches and posted them all from their corresponding letterbox. They were addressed to myself, at the GALE centre, where the exhibition took place.
